Hosting a Fiesta
Party Bonanza’s Party Guide
The Event: A Fiesta. The most popular fiesta in the U.S.? Cinco de Mayo. The holiday commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Oddly enough, it's not really celebrated in Mexico, but it has become an American day of celebration.
Ideal time of the year to have the event: May 5th (this one’s not tough), but anytime is a fun time for a fiesta especially with a plethora of pinatas. Si El Guapo, you have a plethora of pinatas. Ok, enough with my Three Amigos quote.
Reason for the party: Cinco de Mayo can best be characterized as a day of celebration to honor a culture that flavorfully blends Mexican heritage and American life with a spicy kick. Summer generally is a great time for a fiesta.
Additional reason to throw the party: Party Bonanza never needs an additional reason to throw a party and neither should you.
Party Points: Make sure the party appeals to your guest. How many guests will you have? What’s your party budget? Remember…. You’re the host! It's on you to make it fun, memorable, wild, elegant, festive, or just an easy, relaxed environment and Party Bonanza has the party supplies to help you make your party exactly how you want it to be.
